Jake Van Dyken, Esq.
Mr. Van Dyken joined Stolfe Zeigler in early 2019 after spending nearly twenty years as a litigator in New Jersey with a focus on defending civil suits against individuals and companies in varied legal arenas including personal injury, commercial litigation, and professional liability. He now heads the Personal Injury and Litigation Group at Stolfe Zeigler and is the Managing Attorney at the Firm’s Moorestown Office located in the heart of Burlington County.
Mr. Van Dyken’s past experience includes representing high net-worth individuals in commercial disputes as well as Fortune 500 companies in high-value personal injury lawsuits. Since altering his practice to include representing those who are wrongfully injured, he is able to use his knowledge and experience from the Defendant’s perspective to the advantage of his clients.
Mr. Van Dyken also has a background in the sciences, which proves invaluable in understanding the medical terminology, treatment, diagnosis and prognosis in his personal injury lawsuits. In this regard, he graduated from Bowdoin College as a Biology/Pre-Medical Major with a focus on Genetics. After graduating from New York Law School in 2001, he clerked for both the Assignment Judge and Presiding Civil Judge in Passaic County New Jersey.
Since moving to South Jersey and his home in Mooretown, NJ, he has become very involved with the Community’s recreation department volunteering as a Soccer Coach for his daughters for the last seven years. He also is active in the local Bar Association and was recently named Co-Chair of the Personal Injury Committee for the Burlington County Bar Association. He also regularly volunteers his time to South Jersey Legal Services where he primarily handles domestic violence restraining orders for women with minimal financial resources available.
